Project Abstract 

SHCAB, with the help and local resources of Glasswing International, will establish a science, health and hygiene program at Centro Escolar Shutia School at Shutia town in La Libertad, El Salvador in May 2013.  It will consist of the completion of a fully equipped science lab, educational materials, and the restoration of the school’s bathroom facilities.  The SHCAB team will also lead science experiments and exercises with the children directly to promote learning and teamwork skills. These aspects will, together, encourage marginalized Salvadoran children to go to school by providing an interactive learning environment through scientific experiments and promoting healthy lifestyles.
