Our Mission

Students Helping Children Across Borders believes that all children, no matter what ethnic, religious, or socio-economic background, are entitled to a developed and rich upbringing in a safe and stimulating environment. We believe that no childhood should be tainted by intolerance, conflict, and an absence of social justice. SHCAB’s staff and supporters are motivated to empower youth and communities at home and abroad through educational, recreational, and self-esteem building opportunities. With infrastructure builds and wellness programing, SHCAB uniquely mobilizes college students with communities on the ground, through what we call "Service Immersion". We believe wholeheartedly in our cause and are working everyday to accumulate the necessary resources to connect communities and make a difference educationally, recreationally, and socially in childrens' present and future lives.
