About Mirebalais

MIrebalais is a town located about 60 Kilometers northeast of Port-au-Prince. It is an agrarian village that was first established in 1703. The town was hit very hard by the earthquake in 2010. The region has received a lot of aid from various initiatives to rebuild the best that it can; however, the extreme poverty of the region has made this especially challenging as many kids are not able to get adequate schooling and developmental stimulation like recreation and community activities. We hope to bring the joy and community of organized sports to these kids to help create the future leaders of Mirebalais!
